The alla prima technique mirrors the essence of this work: just as a lived day offers only one chance to make it as meaningful as possible, so too does this approach demand immediacy and intention.

Each painting adheres to a format roughly the size of an A4 sheet—a familiar, almost mundane reference, often dismissed as "a little boring." Yet, delve into the A-format, and you'll find it far from ordinary.

Every piece represents a day—some vibrant, some flawless in form, some less perfectly composed, but all sharing the same dimensions. They stem from the same foundation, gaining depth as part of a larger whole: like days in a life or sentences in a story.

Stories of artistry often celebrate unconventional, even antisocial choices—painting indoors on a public holiday, for example. But most will agree: the true value lies in repetition, in the quiet persistence of showing up, day after day.
